At Greenloom Services, we provide a safe, structured and nurturing home for children and young people who have experienced early life trauma, neglect and family disruption. Oxenhope House, our three-place home in Milton Keynes, supports young people aged 9–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We understand that behaviour is often shaped by a young person’s experiences, feelings and unmet needs. Our team takes time to look beyond the behaviour, building trusting relationships and creating an environment where each young person feels heard, respected and valued.
Through individualised, trauma-informed care, we work alongside young people, their families and professionals to support stability, resilience and personal growth.

We support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties whose experiences and needs may include:
- Emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
- Attachment and relationship difficulties
- Child sexual exploitation (CSE)
- County lines involvement
- Complex or distressed behaviours
- Early life trauma and neglect
- Family breakdown or disruption
- Child criminal exploitation (CCE)
- Substance misuse
- Mental health needs we can support within the home
Every referral is considered individually. We assess whether the home can meet the young person’s needs safely, taking account of those already in placement.

A nurturing home
Oxenhope House offers a welcoming residential environment for up to three young people in Milton Keynes. With individual bedrooms, shared living spaces and room for quiet time, the home combines everyday comfort with consistent care and supportive routines.
Tailored Support
Each young person’s support is shaped around their needs, experiences, wishes and aspirations. Our trauma-informed approach draws on PACE principles, helping staff build trusting relationships and respond with patience, curiosity and empathy.
Supporting positive futures
We support young people with education, health, relationships and everyday living skills. By encouraging their interests, listening to their ambitions and celebrating progress, we help them build confidence and take steps towards greater independence.

At Greenloom, we bring together a small-home environment, a trauma-informed approach and a commitment to listening. Our care is grounded in understanding each young person and working together to help them develop at their own pace.
Care shaped around the individual
Every young person is different. Individual care plans reflect their needs, strengths, identity and wishes, and develop as those needs change.
PACE-informed relationships
Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy guide how we connect with young people, helping to build trust and emotional safety.
Understanding beyond behaviour
We recognise the effects of trauma and disrupted relationships. Our focus is on understanding what a young person is communicating and responding with calm, consistent support.
Working together
We work with families, placing authorities, schools and other professionals, where appropriate, to coordinate support around each young person.
Young people have a voice
Key work sessions, house meetings and care reviews give young people opportunities to shape daily life and the decisions that affect them.
A considered start
Every placement follows individual assessment and careful matching. Planned admissions help us prepare for the young person while considering those already living in the home.
